Unpopular opinion, but I feel like 90% of people nowadays, if they were born back then, would be just as racist. Even if a black person was born a white person instead, they’d have likely been racist just bc it’s what people were taught. It takes a truly and genuinely kind individual to be taught so much racism and negativity and still overcome it from just innate goodness.
