But the government does currently know who those clients are. The records exist, and theyre capable of, say, freezing their bank accounts, raiding their homes, and arresting them, but they cant. Theyve been forced into a detente with these high profile sex criminals because if they moved to arrest them theyd double down and also commit murder? Therefore we must just let them remain free and anonymous. It makes no sense.

Saying that voting to release the files is a hostile act against the Administration is about as weird as it gets.
