Juan Pujol García, aka Agent Garbo, was a Spanish double agent who created an entire fake spy network for the Nazis. He fed them false information that helped the Allies successfully launch D Day. Incredibly, the Nazis trusted him so much they awarded him the Iron Cross medal, unaware he was working against them the whole time.
