I don’t think just because somebody’s the most popular that means they should be the one that gets the job. Because then celebrities will just keep running for the rest of our lives. I also wonder if the elections were made about the popular vote, Republicans would actually end up blowing out Democrats. I definitely know more conservative, right leaning people that didn’t vote in the last three elections. Where I don’t know many Democratic leaning people that didn’t vote. Most Democrats that I know very much care more about their voice being heard.
Its in the name: United States. Its not Big Group of People Choosing Mob Rule. Its States that are United by freedom but otherwise remain independent. The point is that the states remain independent and have each has a say, not just the three most populous cities.
