Although they were an Axis ally, the Japanese initially invaded the country first before the Thai government caved in and entered an alliance with Japan. The invasion lasted for only 5 hours compared to Denmark, who surrendered after 6 hours. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_invasion_of_Luxembourg This technically much means that a nation such as Luxembourg, lasted much longer compared to Denmark and Thailand. The mighty Luxembourg lasted one day before the Germans managed to fully occupy the country. Granted that the Danish and Thai governments thought that surrender was more favorable than fighting a nation much more powerful than them (Copenhagen was spared from destruction and Thailand managed to reclaim some of their lost land), I still find it funny that Luxembourg put up more of a fight than them.

Also the Ethiopian kingdom with bows resisting Italians who used chemical weapons for over 16 months.
