The reasons that they won the war are pretty solid though. They scatter to incoming fire really well and are durable enough to usually need multiple hits to take them down. They also weave and rarely run in straight lines, as well as being pretty fucking fast. The Australians did what they could but they were under equipped as the people making decisions thought that a handful of dudes with machine guns would work, not realizing that emus are a nightmare to actually cull. Even to this day its a hard job to keep their numbers in check.
So is Australia joining the Greenland-Antarcica alliance and sents its Emus to support the Polar Bears and Penguins? Damn things get scary.
