Imperial Japan won the Russo-Japanese war in part because Jacob Schiff financed them. This has skewed Japanese views of Jews in international relations, leading Japan to surreptitiously save Jews from Nazi Germany in some cases in hopes of getting on the Jews good side. This has also led to extreme antisemitism in Japan in some cases due to the Russo-Japanese war being one of the very few cases in which Jewish money changed the outcome of a war, despite what you may have heard from Jeremy Corbyn.
