The HRE lasted longer than the Republic or ‘The’ Empire. It was the site of the emergence of the moveable type printing press, the reformation and most “classical music”. It arguably had a greater scientific impact than any of the other Roman forms but then it wasnt hell bent on conquering other regions for “glory” and barely had any slaves so I guess it wasn’t as cool.
