Extremely challenging, but satisfying, that also pays nicely. I happened to walk by a factory thats similar to one I worked at for a while. I walked in, and asked if they needed an operator. Had a little interview with the boss. They gave me a chance for a week. Then another week. Then a month. And now Im permanent. No resume, no background checks, no nonsense. Theyre even investing in training me to become much more professional at my function.   I got a very lucky break. My point isnt that miracles sometimes happen. My point is that the job market is fucked beyond correction. It needs a reset. I had already completely given up on job hubs, government or various sites, as well as HR companies and direct communication with companies looking to hire. This is from so so much frustration and degradation. Hope in the job market is merely a hologram, which you then blame yourself for not grabbing. There is no job market.
